We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2020, at the age of 94, Inez Walden of Kirkland, Washington, born in Brusly, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anthel Walden; her son Ronald Tate; her grandson Alfie Mitchell; and her siblings, Emmett, Gordon, Warren Landry, Corrine Landry and Lela Ware.
She is survived by: her former spouse Obie Tate; her children, Lynette Jackson Tate, Diane Mathews, Eddie Tate, Karen Tate, Donald Tate Sr. and Obie Tate III (Helene Tate); her grandchildren, Kimberly Howard (Delman Howard), Christopher Jackson, Roy Mathews (Wendy), Ricky Mathews, Kenyatta Mathews, Mia Anglin, Rochelle Tate (Joseph Phillips), James Reese (Anne), Donald Tate Jr., Erica Tate, Tara Tate-Daggett (Sam), Kacie (Michael) of Washington and Traci Rountree (Keith); her great grandchildren, Kimaria Howard-Lewis, Kianna Lewis, Dominick Lewis, Tre Lawson, Larissa Jackson, Isabelle Jackson (Mathews), Raina Mathews, Daylen Mathews, Chante Ashley (Zach), Malia Valentine (Matt), Javon Anglin, Ryan Anglin, Tatum Phillips, Parker Phillips, Tamia Reese, Marcus Reese, Biniam Tate, Emerie Tate, Zoe Tate-Daggett, Brooklyn of Washington, Michael Jr. of Washington, KJ Rountree and Kairo Rountree; and her great great grandchildren, Kimaya Lewis Ealy, Myla Ashley, Kamden Ashley, Mikiya Valentine, Mika Valentine, Matt Valentine Jr., Mischa Valentine and Arriana Sattiewhite.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Inez Walden (Nana) will be privately interred at Mt. Tahoma cemetery at 12:30pm.
