He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Hodgson and Helen Hodgson (Bjerke); and his siblings, Ellen, Myrna, Elvin, Ailene, Howard, Leona, Jerry and Beryl.

He is survived by: his wife Vernie; and his children, Daniel Hodgson of Kettle Falls and Angela Renzi of Redmond, OR. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
