He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine Anderson; his parents, Ruth Cocroft Williams and John William Anderson; and his brother Lester Jackson. He is survived by: his uncle James Cocroft; his siblings, Nathaniel Anderson and Deborah Brooks; his children, Charmaine Franklin, Patrice, Denise Perry (Joseph Sr.), Tanya, Jackie and Jeffrey; his nephews, Minister Harvey Irvin and LaMar Anderson; and his niece Regina Anderson. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
