She was predeceased by: her child Shirletta Jessie Tate (Raymond); her parents, Albert Morrison and Clothilde Mitchell Morrison; her grandsons, Keith Bowers Sr. and Demond Jessie; and her great grandchildren, Cardell Jessie Jr. and Jary'Ell Jessie.
She is survived by: her children, Vertis and Jessie Bowers (Kirk) of New Orleans, LA.; and her brother Ronald Hammond of Harvey, LA..
