He is survived by: his children, De Andrea David-Taylor and Derric Nonetta; his grandsons, Jamar Patrick Peeler-Baker and Josiah Dennis-James Taylor; his great grandchildren, Elijah Dennis James Baker and Amir Dennis James Baker; and his sisters, Mary Ann Thibodeaux, Margaret Nichols, Beatrice Sledge and Cynthia Tippens. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, family and friends.
