With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Dement of Kennewick, Washington, born in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on May 10, 2022 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Christopher; and her father Manuel Plata. She is survived by: her husband Kevin; her daughter Stephanie; her stepchildren, Franklin, Jacquie and Jessica; her brothers, Aczael Jr., John (Teresa), Ray and Joe (Angie); her mother Esther; and her stepfather Aczael Sr.. She is also survived by her family, friends, and husband of thirty-two years.

“May the Lord comfort all of Sylvia's family and loved ones. She will be missed by me but I know she knew that in her passing she was being promoted to her heavenly home. Sylvia was a messenger of love and kindness to me and it was if the illness was welcomed for she used it always as a chance to share the gift of Salvation to others. She will always be a very positive example to me and I cherish her for it.. Dennis Krienke”
