He was predeceased by: his father Juan Francisco Hinojosa (Pancho); and his stepfather Mario Zavaleta. He is survived by: his son Kaison Zane Gordon-Hinojosa; his mother Tina Alaniz; and his siblings, Mario Jr. (Zavaleta II), Michelle Gonzalez and Marcy McWain. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
