He was predeceased by: his brother Lloyd; his mother Helen; and his grandchildren, Kyle Carey and Jennifer Marie Carey. He is survived by: his brother Wayne Rogers; his sisters-in-law, Donna Rogers, Norma Rogers and Dorothy Kennedy; his son Duane Rogers of Pasco, WA; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Rogers of Pasco, WA; his children, Janet of Kennewick, WA and Jim Rogers of Kennewick, WA; his daughter-in-law Lisa Rogers of Kennewick, WA; and his grandchildren, Michelle Case (Stuart), Candace Gazipura (Aziz), Amy Fannin (Will), Nick Carey (Laura) and Noe Robledo Cary. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
In keeping with Luther's charitable nature, donations may be made to the Chaplaincy Hospice Care or the local group of Seabees (Mid-Columbia, WA, SVA Island X7) for their Christmas program to benefit families in need.
