“Mr. Brauer, my condolences to you and your family for the loss of your wife. My name is steve gomes and i attended marshall high school, in portland, oregon, where lenise's father lauren, taught language arts. Lenise and l met the summer after she graduated from high school, at a youth camp on the oregon coast. Through the years, i have often used her as an example of an outstanding young woman. Her discernment, warmth and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on me.”
