He is survived by: his wife Novalee Holt; his stepchildren, Seema Rae, David and Jonathon Horman; his sister Tammy Smith (Mark) of Prosser; his niece Kristen Dennis (Brad) of Prosser; his nephew Josh Smith (Jessica) of West Richland; and his aunt Barbara Smith of Spanaway. He is also survived by three great nieces and one great nephew.
