He was predeceased by: his father George Zimmerle; and his grandparents, John R. Escalante, Maria Gaytan Escalante and Consuelo Duron Vailpando. He is survived by: his mother Lucy Zimmerle; his wife Robin Zimmerle; his children, Temple Alicia, Celia, Jordan, Diamond, Skyler and Velvet; and his siblings, Arthur, Rick, Alex, Gilbert, Adella Salinas, Elizabeth Ramos and Mary Mancilla.
