He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvian Gavaert and Helen Gavaert; his brother Don Gavaert; and his son Timothy Gavaert. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Gavaert; his children, Michelle Brooks (Bill), Shawn Gavaert (Carey) and Earl J. Gavaert; his stepchildren, Rick Carlton, Karen Roe, Becky Allman and Lisa Cartlon; and his siblings, Jim Gavaert and Sharon Hackel. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
