He was predeceased by: his parent Steve Stecker; his grandparents, George, Audrey Stecker, Howard, Doris Wilson, R. B. and Maxine Dawson; and his aunts, Willene Racle and Lonna Gargus.
He is survived by: his aunts and uncles, George (Kathi Stecker), Sid (Karla Stecker), Kelly (Anna Stecker), Leonard (Lynn Stecker), Jim Racle, Robert Dawson, John (Jennifer Dawson) and Sue Deusner; and his sister Linda Stecker. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
