He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Doescher and Agnes Doescher; his daughter Doreen J Soushek; his children-in-law, Dawn Doescher and Les Chapman; his niece Cheryl Swayze; and his brothers-in-law, Warren Selvar and Richard Barnes.
He is survived by: his children, Dee Chapman (Jordan), Dan (Valerie), Derwin (Debbie) and Dondi (Jana); and his sisters, Maurene, Charlene and Linda (Adam). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and an ever-expanding extended family.
