It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond L. Johnson in Kelso, Washington, born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Muriel McGinnis; his stepfather Don McGinnis; his father Lester Johnson; and his brothers, Ronald "Ronny" Johnson Sr. and Robert "Bob" Johnson Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Ray Johnson Jr. (Toni) and Lori Peterson (Ole); his grandchildren, Marci Johnson, Erin Johnson and Evan Peterson; his great grandchildren, Isabella Armijo and Jackson Peterson; his siblings, Roger Johnson, Marvin "Butch" Johnson, Ruthann Fuqua, Rose "Elaine" Cordova and Cheri Redgrave; and his friend RVs. He is also survived by many good friends, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Steele Chapel (5050 Mt Solo Rd, Longview, WA 98632).
