As Kayoko departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Kayoko. Though Kayoko may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Daniel John Chirillo; her daughter Lynne Chirillo; her stepsons, Christopher Chirillo and Joseph Chirillo; her brother Masahiro Ogimoto; her niece Naoko Ogimoto; and her parents, Katsuko Oikawa and Hisao Ogimoto.
In 2020, during the challenging times of the pandemic, she stepped into a leadership role as Learning Director, dedicating herself to supporting both the middle/high school and kindergarten programs, as well as the entire Saturday School community.
