Though Kayoko may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Daniel John Chirillo; her daughter Lynne Chirillo; her stepsons, Christopher Chirillo and Joseph Chirillo; her brother Masahiro Ogimoto; her niece Naoko Ogimoto; and her parents, Katsuko Oikawa and Hisao Ogimoto.
In 2020, during the challenging times of the pandemic, she stepped into a leadership role as Learning Director, dedicating herself to supporting both the middle/high school and kindergarten programs, as well as the entire Saturday School community.
