It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gene Gordon Pickering of Issaquah, Washington, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Marie Brehm and Royal Robert Pickering; and his wife Virginia Allen. He is survived by: his children, Allen Pickering (Cheri), Jill Shelton (Stuart), Jeff Pickering (Christine) and Lori Pickering; and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Andrew, Melissa, Emily, Eric, Evan, Abbie and Sadie.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church (7410 S 12th St, Tacoma, WA 98465). A reception was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Fircrest Golf and Country Club (1500 Regents Blvd, Fircrest, WA 98466).
