He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, LeRoy Cox and Jeanne Cox; his daughter Shelly Cox; his wife Patricia Cox of Ocean City; his sons, Lance Cox (Karen) of Cosmopolis and Eric Cox (Tiffany Rinke) of Ocean City; his siblings, Terry (Pat Cox) and Colleen (Dennis Cihak); and his grandchildren, Justin, Lorin, Malia, Elka, Sky, Violet and Gabriel.
