It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orbrey Wieland of Hoquiam, Washington, who passed away on November 8, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eula Wieland (Elmer) and Orbrey Wieland; his sister Betty Jean; and his brothers-in-law, Howard Ray and Fred Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharilyn Peterson; his children, Joy Schmitt (John) of Ocean Shores, LeeAnn Oszman (Brian) of Central Park, Susan Wieland-Niemi (Tom) of Aberdeen and Tom Wieland (Anita) of Olympia; his grandchildren, Jennifer Blair (Aaron), Aaron Wallin (Trina), Andrew Wallin (Danielle), Melissa Cady (Craig), Daniel Oszman (Carissa), Abigail and Dehn Wieland; his brother Bill Wieland (Carole) of Hoquiam; his sisters-in-law, Marilee Weber (Jerry) of Hoquiam and Marlene Peterson of Grand Forks; his daughter-in-law Sheela Wieland of Aberdeen; and his son James Wieland of Aberdeen. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
