He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Esther Constance Dougherty (Nordby); and his son Dirk Dougherty of Hoquiam. He is survived by: his wife Judy Dougherty; his daughters, Shelly Feneide (Pete) of Ocosta, Lisa Melton (Terry) of Hoquiam and Dawn Dougherty of Hoquiam; his sister Virginia Hessler of Olympia; his grandchildren, Sara Marsh, Marcus Messer, Cortney Melton, Riann Melton, Brandon Feneide, Randi Salinas, Dalton Dougherty and Taylor Dougherty; and his close friends, Carolyn and Poncho. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
