It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Diane (Dee) McAleese of Hoquiam, Washington, who passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Diane may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Diane touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Byron C. Krauss and Elnora M. Krauss (Dykeman); her children, Linda Ann Eaves of Bakersfield, California and Michael Byron Mooney of Pampa, Texas; and her sisters, Linda Hamerski of Anaheim and Mary Follett of Saxe, Virginia.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Family Home.
