Adam Tate Jackson Obituary
Adam Tate Jackson, age 35, resident of Hoquiam, died on October 20, 2021, at his home in Hoquiam. Adam was born on December 3, 1985, to Russell Wayne and Lorna Rae (Newlun) Jackson. He was raised in Hoquiam and graduated from Hoquiam High School in 2005. He also lived in Melbourne, Arkansas where he attended Melbourne High School.
Adam was known for his kind and generous care for his children, as well as many others that needed a stable adult influence in their lives. He was proud to be a stay-at-home father.
Even as a young child Adam was always busy and on the go. Always up for a new adventure and enjoyed living life to the fullest. He loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid arrowhead hunter.
Adam was also a man of many skills that enjoyed working with his hands. He spent much of his spare time working on cars. Talented artist that enjoyed tattooing. His whole life he was a martial arts enthusiast. In June of 2021 he attained his black belt in American Freestyle Kenpo.
On August 22, 2020, he and Sharon Kerney were married. Sharon survives at the family home in Hoquiam.
In addition to his wife, Sharon, surviving relatives include his mother, Lorna R. Jackson; six children, Bryce Burnett, Wyatt Jackson, Jewelia Jackson, Karter Zillyette, Kailyn Jackson and Josh Kerney; a brother, Rusty Jackson; sister, Tera Johnson as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts. If you had been in his household, you were considered part of the family.
A celebration of life will be held at the Hoquiam Elks on December 4 at 2:00pm.
Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
