He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Carey and Alta Carey; his wife Nadeen Tanneberg; and his siblings, George, Gene, Rodney, Eva Flathers and Carol Swigart.
He is survived by: his daughters, Candy McPherson (Greg), Robin Carey and Tami Lopushinsky (Pete); his grandchildren, Josh McPherson (Sharon), Carey McPherson (Tarah), Abby Tanneberg and Casey Tanneberg; his great grandchildren, Ella Mae, Levi, Niyah, Amelia, Silas, Gideon, Lielle and Seth; his siblings-in-law, Virginia Carey of Colbert, WA, Ward Tanneberg of Issaquah and Doug Tanneberg (Patsy) of Coulee City; and his cousin Pauline Dingman of Spokane. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
