He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Nelson and Mildred Nelson; his wife Mary Lee; his brothers, Russ and Don; his children, David and Nancy; his son-in-law Dan; and his grandchildren, Katy, Christopher and Alexa.
