He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Hahnel and Luella Hahnel; his brother Greg Hahnel; and also Allison Hahnel. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his son Brandon Hahnel (Olivia); his grandchildren, Clive and Eliza; his sister Debbie Hahnel (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Judi Hahnel. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; and many life-long friends.
