He is survived by: his wife Teresa Polina; his children, Patrick, Eric Daniel, Terri Valdez (Ernie) and Robert (Mari); his grandchildren, E. J., Lexani, La'Daenien, Kendall, Nathalia, Jayden, Dezi and Baby EJ; and his siblings, Robert Cardenas, Jose Cardenas (Leonor), Alfredo Cardenas (Janie), Jane Villanueva (Mario), Maria Richards (David), Refugio Jr. Cardenas (Debbi), Ray Cardenas, Angie Cardenas (David Antunes) and Jesse Cardenas (Maria). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
