He is survived by: his cousin Cristian Curiel; his grandparents, Agustín Curiel, Margarita Avalos, Jesus Alvarez and Carmen Garibay; his mother Carmen Álvarez; his children, Yared Curiel and José Maria Curiel; and his siblings, Oscar, Omar, José, Anay, Dulce and Rosa.
