She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Refugia Alvarez (Vargas) and Isaac Alvarez; her children, Ramon, Jesus Avalos, Juana Avalos, Salvador Avalos, Bertha Tacza, Ruben Avalos and Antonio Avalos; her sister Angelita Cortes; and her husband Juan Avalos. She was also cherished by twenty-nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
