He was predeceased by: his stepson-in-law Daniel Hopper. He is survived by: his friend Glenn Wallingford; his wife Dee; his sister Kathleen Diane Sparrow Johnson of Arlington, VA.; his son Keith (Judi); his grandson Braiden of Sunnyside; and his children, Trey, Timmy, Grace, Hope, Abby, Anthony, Allie of Prosser, Tyler Armstrong, Alyssa Armstrong, Emma Hopper, Kohlby Hopper, Jacob Armstrong and Scarlett Armstrong of Woodbine, GA..
In lieu of flowers John has asked that donation be made to the Grandview Police Dept. equipment fund.
