With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Carl Smasne (Grandview, Washington), born in Mabton, Washington, who passed away on June 20, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Smasne and Marie Smasne; his siblings, Paul, Francie, Mary and Joann; and his great grandchild Joy Case.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Smasne; his children, David Smasne (Deanna), Steven Smasne (Robin), Julie Smasne and Andrea Smasne; his grandchildren, Erica Smasne (Cory), Meghan Case (Cody), Haley Oriz (Kevin), Ethan Smasne and Renee Smasne; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Jade Case, Blake, Morgan Henry, Carson, Baby Oriz and Bjorn Smasne; and his siblings, Sharon Smasne, Karen Jones and Ray Smasne. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Due to John's great love of farming, in lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made to your local FFA Chapter in his name.
