He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Rex, James Jr. and Penny Preston (Perry); and his grandchildren, James Leidig Jr. III, Collin Lee, Ashley Fisher (Nick), Royce Leidig (Emile) and Ethan Preston. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
