He was predeceased by: his parents, Albia "Bus" Mattocks and Eulalia Johnson Mattocks; and his grandson Josh Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Elva Lee Foote; his children, Charles Mattocks (Karen) and Kathryn Thompson (Don); his grandsons, Chris Mattocks (Whitney), Scott Thompson (Elizabeth) and Adam Thompson (Mandy); his great grandchildren, William Thompson, Garrity, Drew Mattocks, Elija and Adeline Thompson; his brother-in-law Darrell Foote (Gayle); and his siblings, Lynn Mattocks, Carolyn Hill and Nila Webster.
Memorials may be made to Astria Sunnyside Cancer Center or the Salvation Army.
