She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Hoover and Donna Hoover; her husband Carl Jorgensen; her children, David (Lauri Jorgensen) and Rose Marie (Phill Eades); her former husband Ernest Jorgensen; her son Bernard Jorgensen; her siblings, Clarence Jr., Lenore Hoover, Donald, Roger, Dan and Jerry Hoover; her granddaughters, Tasha and Jennica; her great grandchildren, McKenzie and Carter; her grandson Tyler (Britty); her great grandchildren, Addy and Slater; her grandchildren, Abby, Elliot and Isabelle; her friend Emily Munn; her children, Karen, Paul Boghokian, Wenatchee, Carol and Carl; and also, Terry (Pam Jorgensen), Chris (Bev Jorgensen), Andrew (Terry Kaye Jorgensen), Karen (Paul Boghokian) and Alice.
In about 1987, with Ernest increasingly debilitated due to Parkinson's disease, Carol moved to a home in Yakima not far from her son David.
