She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cathrin Y. Ranes (Davis) and James Ranes; her husband Robert Thompson; her brother Fred Ranes of Bremerton, Washington; and her children, Kathy Y. Nau of Port Orchard, Jim L. Hert of Goldendale, Tim W. Burkhardt of Port Orchard, Tammy L. Burkhardt of Seattle, Washington and Mike W. Ranes. She was also cherished by twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
