He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Schulz (Smithson) and Jack Schulz; his wife Cheryl; and his brother John. He is survived by: his children, James Schulz, David Shulz (Gail) and Lynette Enstad (Brian); his grandchildren, Dylon, Morgan, Ethan (Emily) and Dean (Haily); and his great grandchildren, Terrence, Kennedy and Della.
