He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Matthew Carlson (Crystal) of Beaverton and Kaisa Carlson of Portland; his sisters, Judith Darrow (Ken) of Bend and Margaret Callahan (Tom) of Kennewick; and his cousin Kristine Carraway (Willis) of San Diego.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Agnus Dei Lutheran Church, Franciscan Hospice, National Smokejumper Association Good Samaritan Fund, or Nisqually Lodge.
