She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Liu De-Sen and Dr. Xie Jing-Yu; her husband Daniel; her children, Franklin, William, Daniel Chu, Jr. (Sue) and Elizabeth Chu Domahidy (George); her nephew Andrew Chao (Emily); her daughters-in-law, Linnea Chu and Cynthia Shea (James); her grandchildren, William (Julie), Christine (Patrick), Kimberly (Fred), Jennifer (Michael), Catherine (Mark), Daniel (Timothy) and David (Ana); her great grandchildren, Karina (Carlos), Karalee, Ethan, Mira, Grace, Tsipporah, Saya, Fiona, Juliana and Davin; and also John. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, in-laws.
