He is survived by: his wife Magda Ruiz-Viera; his children, Jason (Jennifer), Catherine-Frances (Tony), Noeland (Faith) and Jacklyn (Eric); his grandchildren, Saul, Carli, Marcel, Natalie, Teague, Lindsey, Tosh, Dekker (Makana), Cadence and Leland; his half-sister Joanna; and his stepmother Sheryl.
