Joan Hopen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Hopen (Gig Harbor, Washington), who passed away on July 2, 2018 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Alf Hopen; her sister Roberta Shaffer Smith; her sons, David Harrison (Ann) and Scott Harrison (Vlada); and her stepdaughters, Wendy Hopen Sleeger (Gary) and Heidi Hopen Wright (Drew). She is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and her faith full four-legged companion.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Wounded Warriors Fund.
