He is survived by: his wife Bette; and his children, Sandie Myers, Linda Ireland (Harry), Tina McGovern (Terry) and K. O. Asplund (Valerie). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandsons.
