It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Washington Jr. of George, Washington, born in Tuskegee, Alabama, who passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Johnny Washington. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Washington; his parent Mary Washington-Edwards; his children, Sheila Hamilton, Christopher Washington and Gregory Washington; his siblings, Leonard Washington and Cassandra Washington; his stepsons, Bradford Werner, Bryan Carfley and Jerry Carfley (Taryn); his nephew Johnny Hamilton; his niece Denali Washington; his grandsons, Cameron Fields, Braylon Owens and Lonzo Washington; his stepgranddaughters, Aubrielle Werner, Charlotte Werner, Destiny Carfley, Harmony Carfley, Sky Carfley and River Carfley; and his cousin Ronnie Sanders. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and special close friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Calhoun Funeral Home (23000 Rockside Rd, Bedford Heights, OH 44146).
