We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2019 we had to say goodbye to William Slocum (Garfield, Washington), born in Shelby, Montana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Baldridge A. Slocum and Frances L. Slocum; his siblings, Robert, Rosalie, Mary, Bruce and Bernard; his son Bill Strissel; and his daughter-in-law Nellie Jo Strissel.

He is survived by: his wife Lynda Byrne; his children, Eric Slocum (Shelley) of Palouse and Heidi Elder (Ben) of Colbert; his grandchildren, Jake Strissel (Sara) of Bozeman, Matthew Strissel of Bozeman, Josh Strissel (Katie) of Bozeman, Brock Slocum (Jamie) of Bozeman, Blake Slocum (Shelby) of Bozeman, Layna Elder of Bozeman, Landon Elder of Bozeman and Lauryn Elder of Bozeman; his great grandchildren, Brandon, Emma Strissel, Bozeman Montana and Cooper Slocum; and his sisters-in-law, Frankie of Whitefish, MT, Marty and Spokane. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to Garfield – Farmington E.M.S, Box 142, Garfield, WA. 99130 Kramer Funeral Home of Palouse has been entrusted with caring for the William "Bill" Slocum's family.
