We bid farewell to Sherry Lee Nygaard of Garfield, Washington, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 29, 2025 at the age of 85. Sherry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse "Fats" Wallace and Mattie "Pearl" Espy (Clyde); her husband Jack Nygaars; her granddaughter Tricia Taylor; her great grandchild Jax McKinney; and her siblings, Shirley Wilhelm, Charlotte McCallum, Beverly Jones, Buck, Butch, Mitch Espy and Bobby Bryant.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Nygaard Potlatch (Kevin Dial), Jacey (Teresa Nygaard Lewiston), Jolene (Bill Hopper Lewiston), Todd (Carrie Nygaard Kamiah) and Kelly (Larry Britt Potlatch); her great grandchildren, Wade, Tara Dial, Gabe, Rory, Brady, Kristen, Autumn, Jessica, JD, Ron, Ashley Baune, Jeb, Jaiden, Stephanie, Nick Brown, Ryleigh, Tyler, Tiffany Westbrook, Stella, Jarod, Alishia Taylor, Ashlyn, Avry, Melissa, Tyson Guy, Knox, Kynley, Jack Nygaard (Jordyn Rush), Bailey, Laine Pratt, Paisley, Vivian, Kaitlyn, Pat McLam, Sam, Westyn, Kristi, Dave Stearns, Siena, Brody, Renee, Mike McKinney, Jaidyn, Jenison, Cody, Ciara, Calvin and Carson; and her siblings, Sharon Lewis, Mick and Lynn Espy.
She donated several pies to ICARE Foundation (helps local cancer patients).
