Marilyn J. Bailey Obituary
We bid farewell to Marilyn J. Bailey of Freeland, Washington, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 2, 2025 at the age of 93. Marilyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph W. Libbey and Ethel Hancock Libbey; her grandparents, Justus and Ruby Hancock; her husband Bob Bailey; her daughter Susan Baas; her grandson Daniel Bailey; and her siblings, Lyla Snover, Janice Stoddard Coffman, Wayne and Leland Libbey.
She is survived by: her close friend Marilyn; and her children, Russell (Mary Anne Bailey), Robert (Nancy Bailey), Bonnie Kononen (Allen), Julia Goodman (Fred) and Roselyn Taylor. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Whidbey Island Nordic Lodge 63 (63 Jacobs Rd, Coupeville, WA 98239).
