He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Swearengin and Bessie Swearengin (Dalton); and his siblings, Danny Swearengin, Dale Swearengin, Larry Swearengin, Wanda George (Swearengin) and Gearldine Horton (Swearengin).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Swearengin (Zeigler); his sister Connie Swearengin Robinson; his children, Glenna Nolte (John) of Portland and William Swearengin (Penny) of Freeland, WA; his granddaughters, Nicole Barker (Nolte), Sarah Nolte and Belinda Permenter (Swearengin); and his great grandchildren, Maizie, Ezra, Duncan and Xander.
