It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clayton S. Engebretsen (Freeland, Washington), who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie and Cornelius; his wife Grace; his sister Laverne; his daughter Emily; and his great grandchild Max.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Engebretsen, Nancy Allison (Mark), MaryBeth Engebretsen, Barbara Allen (Jeff) and Cheryl Blackburn (Mike). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and 15 great and great-great grandchildren.
Clayton was also an active member of the South Whidbey Lions Club, even supporting them during Covid by building over 500 birdhouses for charity.
