He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Jansen and Anna Jansen; his sisters, Patricia Fitzgerald and Nettie Raber; and his son Daniel Jansen.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Jansen; his sons, Rick (Elisabeth) and Scott Jansen (Tracy); his daughter-in-law Jill Jansen; his grandchildren, Russell (Amanda), Victor, Cooper (Kiersten), Ryan, Andrew, Brett Jansen, Tamara (Elliot), Emily, Carly and Claire Jansen; and his great grandchild Alannah Jansen.
