He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren Rudesill and Alice Rudesill; and his parents-in-law, Loren and Grace Strandt. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his siblings, Darliene Dekker (Derk) and Chuck Rudesill; his children, Heidi Rudesill, Dan Rudesill and Becky Rudesill; and his stepdaughters, Tina Lukes (Britt) and Jennifer Gray (Randy). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
