He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Sidney LaHatt and Anna LaHatt (Biddeson); and his siblings, Doyle LaHatt and Rita Leanne Swanson. He is survived by: his wife Karen Kaaland; his children, Lorilee Maclin (Nathan), Lyall LaHatt (Alberto) and Lindy LaHatt (Katherine); his stepdaughter Taunna Elsner (Scott); his grandchildren, Randy Elsner, Bryli Elsner Blankenship (Jake), Xaiden Maclin and Xeira LaHatt; and his siblings, Jim LaHatt (Nancy), Carroll Nilson (late Bob) and Ann Marie Downing (Steve).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenacres Memorial Park (5700 Northwest Dr, Ferndale, WA 98248).
