He is survived by: his children, Gary, Gene Bird and Gail Hanson; his wife Arlene Bird; his son Greg Bird (Sandra); his son-in-law Steve Hanson; his grandchildren, Ashley, Gary, Steven, Kaylen and Mallory; his great grandchildren, Jacek and Tanner; and his siblings, Garold Bird (Diane), Lary Bird, Beverly Mackner, Karen Terpsma (William) and Bob Bird (MaryAnne). He is also survived by extended family including many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
